Mechanic Support
Whilst all S8 Racing team members will offer assistance and advice when they are not assisting their driver(s), in classes with numerous competitors time cannot always be guaranteed. For those drivers who require it, S8 can offer a dedicated mechanic working 1-to-1 with you on your kart exclusively. All our mechanics have extensive experience of working with karts and they will ensure the kart is set-up and maintained to deliver maximum performance throughout the race weekend.
Whilst karts may look simple to the casual observer, the adjustments available on both the chassis and engine are extensive and strictly checked by the race scrutineers. A novice driver with little or no karting experience could benefit from having a mechanic run their kart allowing them to concentrate on developing their driving but also to teach them the basics of maintenance and set-up. More experienced drivers can take advantage of the additional time available to discuss their performance in the last run with the Team Manager safe in the knowledge their kart is being meticulously set-up for the next session.
