Data telemetry and analysis

Collecting and interpreting data collected about the kart on track doesn't replace years of experience racing at the highest level. It does however aid the process of discussing with a driver where time could be saved by altering driving technique. This is why S8 Racing have invested in data logging equipment with all karts in the team running a Mychron 4 (or equivalent) as a minimum. We also have available the AIM Mychron GPS module and MyTach logger to build track maps allowing racing lines to be analysed in detail. These coupled with the latest kart mounted video recording equipment allows us to review the laps completed back in the awning and offer advice on how to make sure the driver and kart achieve the maximum performance possible.
